1. A HASTY NOTE

It's the eve of my nutty 3 months fall teaching tour so I've been whirling around the office and home like mad trying to pack. I've had a much-needed chunk of time, 3 rare weeks back at home in San Francisco. The office has been excavated in a painstaking archeological process - now the dreaded storage area awaits!

I would have had this out to you sooner, but crunch time seemed to have crunched my time line!

It's really exciting to return to so many of my favorite places!

I look forward to seeing many of you while I'm on the road!
