1. NOTES FROM THE ROADWith March my spring teaching tour really got into gear. My travels first took me to Seattle where Max of BondageLessons sponsored me for several classes at the Center for Sex Positive Culture and Babeland welcomed me with a sell-out house. Then I got to enjoy steamy art and performances of the Seattle Erotic Art Festival at the Seattle Center. The highlight was the throngs of women who bumped, giggled, hooted and hollered and generally had a raucous and debauched time at the Seattle Bang 4 The Buck women's party. Over the evening 260+ women partied their sexy booties off and in total we raised $4,263, which goes for critically needed HIV services through AIDS LifeCycle. Then back to San Francisco, where Kumi and I performed an abbreviated version of "Elements of Suffering" with the fantastic live music and sound engineering accompaniment by the fatasgamoric LUMO Brothers. This was at the Friday night portion of the SF Fetish Ball. A few hours later I was on a plane headed to Tulsa, where it seems to be impossible to get to via any direct route from San Francisco. Ah, Zen and the art of modern air travel! I taught a couple of classes there along with Jay Wiseman to a very welcoming and engaging crowd in their new, local community space. Immediately after that I spent two separate 4-day visits to Los Angeles. I've been visiting and teaching in LA for a few years now, and lately the flowers of my efforts are really coming to bloom. Private classes to couples and small groups kept me busy as well as the lively classes at the Pleasure Chest and the intimate Salons at Coco De Mer. It's very interesting that in LA, like London, tutoring seems to be norm. I was comparing notes with a well-known cooking teacher and he's found the same as well. If all this seems a bit tiring, yes, it is. The travels and the spring allergies have just wiped me out! I do try to get my rest and feed my soul as much as possible in between. Gardens and flowers seems to be the theme for me this month, as K and I spent a lovely date day at the San Francisco Flower and Garden Show. Then I had the pleasure of visiting the Hunting Gardens in Pasadena with a friend. The new Chinese Garden is brilliant! Of course the Japanese Garden there is simply remarkable. A must-visit destination if you love gardens and find yourself in the LA area! By the time you read this, I'll be somewhere in Buenos Aires, enjoying an actual vacation. CHICAGO = = = = = 6. NEW COLUMNS, NEW VENUESFor those of you who enjoyed my monthly column on ErosZine.com for the past three years, I have sad news for you. The site has discontinued new columns. They are, however, keeping my old columns in the archives with photos. I really enjoyed my writings for them and the editorial freedom, so I hope you'll enjoy the archives as well. Diva's Debauchery In the mean time I continue to write for various other publications. Men's Health magazine in UK features me as their monthly sex advisor and problem solver in "Ask Midori".
